Meet the Owner

My name is Nelda Coffman and I have been in the retail business in Bowie since 1976. I started this brick and mortar store - Early Attic here in Bowie, Tx in September 2011. I design and make all the necklaces you see in my shop - it's my stress release. I have been making necklaces for about 15 years. All the stones I use are genuine and the highest quality. My necklaces are designed to be worn separately or in multiple layers. No matter if you decide to wear a dress or jeans, I make the jewelry to go with any outfit!

Early Attic Jewelry, Gifts, and Antiques was started in September 2011. We are located in historic downtown Bowie, TX. We specialize in designing & making beautiful necklaces, antique furniture, shabby chic, western decor, and handmade Mata Ortiz Pottery from Mexico.

We sell our jewelry at the Cowgirl Hall of Fame Inductions each year in Fort Worth, Texas.

It can also be found in the gift shop at Davis & Blevins Gallery in Saint Jo, Texas as well as in the gift shop at the Old Post Office Museum & Art Center in Graham, Texas.

Since I have recently retired, I plan on setting up at different shows now, such as Petticoats On The Prairie.
